Easy Pecan Caramel Turtles

Easy Pecan Caramel Turtles 1 (12 oz.) bag of Kraft caramels, unwrapped
Large pecan halves
Soft tub margarine
1 tbsp. margarine
1 (1oz.) packet Pre-melted Nestle Choco Bake
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
About 2 tbsp. hot milk

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet with cooking spray. Arrange pecans flat side down in groups of 3 on cookie sheet and place 1 caramel on top of each grouping. Carefully slide cookie sheets in oven and bake until caramels are soft, about 4 to 6 minutes. Remove from oven. Flatten the caramel over the pecans with a margarine-coated spoon. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheets onto cookie sheets lined with wax paper to cool completely.

Melt 1 tbsp. margarine in microwave in a small microwave safe mixing bowl; add packet of Choco Bake and stir together. Stir in powdered sugar, vanilla and enough milk to make chocolate frosting of spreading consistency. Spread frosting on top of each caramel; place each turtle back on wax paper lined cookie sheet. (If frosting gets too firm, warm up in microwave for several seconds) Allow frosting to harden on turtles and then store in an airtight container in a cool place. Makes about 36 turtles.
