1/4 lb. of fresh green beans with ends trimmed off
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. jarred minced garlic
Place beans into a small nonstick skillet. Add enough water to just cover beans. Cover and cook on medium high for 5 to 6 minutes or until just fork tender. Drain water out of pan. Add olive oil to beans in skillet and stir to coat beans. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Stir in garlic during last minute of cooking. Beans will be done when they are browned slightly. Makes 2 servings.
