1) Cut off a 1 1/2" to 2" section of log. Note: In order for the pumpkin to stand up, you may need to cut a flat surface onto one side of the pumpkin.
2) Paint the entire piece of log with orange paint. After the paint has dried, paint the face onto one side of the pumpkin with the black and white paint marker. Note: make sure the flat surface of the pumpkin is toward the bottom. Allow to dry.
3) Drill a hole on the top of the pumpkin the diameter of the twig and about a 1/2" into the pumpkin. Glue twig into the hole.
4) Glue the leaf next to the stem. Cut a piece of raffia and tie a bow around twig. Add a little extra glue onto bow to keep it in place.
